Actually there is no need to set up another address in Gmail. If you just type in the different sub address in the email text box of the twitter form it will automatically recognize it as part of your primary email address.
1. Type in your primary email address
Example 1: anat@gmail.com
2. add another word to your address
Example 2: anat+Twitter@gmail.com
3. Complete the rest of the options on the screen and you'll be able to create another account in twitter successfully. All emails to your different twitter accounts will come back to your primary email address.
note: I'm not sure if this only works for gmail accounts or other email accounts also.
Best

I'm in the same boat you are. Would luv the ability to post to multiple accounts as provided by splitweet, but Hootsuite does provide good stats and scheduling capabilities – A_Tse, on February 26, 2009 21:05-

United Mobile Boarding PassWhen are you going to provide mobile boarding passes? This is already being provided by Continential in September and American in Nov of last year.

conniecrosby, you rock! Your suggestion totally did the trick and I'm now happily twittering using two different accounts but with all twitter-related emails going back to my one gmail account.
It was very easy to set up a 'sub-email' address by going to my gmail settings, selecting the accounts tab, and adding another email address in the 'Send mail as:' section of the page. The types of email address examples you had provided where very helpful.
Thanks again! – tsegrrl, on February 15, 2009 23:37

Thanks for the response. I already have a gmail account and don't want to start another one just to have two twitter accounts. I'll just keep my professional usability oriented blogging on sites where it doesn't get lost in the ongoing stream of twittering... – tsegrrl, on February 15, 2009 17:19

iPhone app needed to meet end user demands ASAP!!Would be nice to have an flickr iPhone app since I've already invested so much time in uploading my photos on their site. Come on flickr, you are not meeting the needs of your user base in providing easy access for the every growing iPhone population/existing customers to upload and share their photos using their current accounts using their iPhones.-

Can I have two different usernames/accounts using the same email address?I would like to set up two different accounts/ usernames using the same email address so that I may may use one account for friends (Fun) and one for my career (blogging about usability, surveying twitter community, etc). Is there a way to do this without having to create another email account?
