A comment on the question "Twitter Invite by Email Preview - who is Isaac Mao???" in Twitter:
RLJ, thanks.
Real person or not, why does Twitter generate this link as part of the preview email to be sent to my contacts when I want to use the "Invite by email" function?
I want to make sure that new Twitter subscribers that I have inviting follow my tweets.
This function, as presented by Twitter, doesn't make it clear what's happening IMHO – nothing2see, on July 11, 2008 08:21

Twitter Invite by Email Preview - who is Isaac Mao???Who is Isaac Mao?
When I try to invite friend via email the preview email gives a link:
http://twitter.com/i/deafe017142140db...
which goes to a Chinese blogger called Isaac Mao.
Why does it give this link when I want my friends to connect to me?
If it's just a placeholder then it's kind of weird!

There's an option under "Find and Follow" where you can then "Invite from other networks" or "Invite by email" but it has confused me because when I do a preview of what it intends to send via email invite it has a link:
http://twitter.com/i/deafe017142140db...
That says it comes from someone called Isaac Mao rather than me!
wtf???
