Ads everywhere. Can we live without them... sometimes?Must there be advertising on every web site? The web seems to have turned from the information super highway to the the ad impression highway. I certainly understand that advertising can pay for free services, but an enormous number of subscription and pay for use services see fit to barrage their patrons with endless ads.
It feels like we are trying something hard and new by offering a service that is advertising and product placement free. Are there others out there that value a service that doesn't want anything to get in the way of their member's original reason for joining? -
