Chip, that topic seems to be more about the Facebook => Twitter functionality that Facebook recently added.
I too have multiple Facebook Pages.
1) I want my Default group to NOT go to ALL services because I have about 6 personal services, then my Pages which should not get those posts.
2) I need to be able to send an update to one page, and not any of the other pages.
Ping.fm seems to have so much potential, but there are little things like this that keep me from being able to 100% commit to it.-

Yes, this is kind of critical for me, especially now that I have added a Facebook page (and I have other pages too) to my list of services. I want my default to be all of my personal services, and optionally be able to send something to my page (and then, not necessarily every page that I have added).-

I just filed feedback on this same subject, and afterwords it suggested some other topics like this one.
I am in total agreement with mphcoach. I have started using HootSuite to actual read stuff more now that 2.0 is so customizable (I only got it yesterday, and it is great!). But yesterday I responded to several things from my main Twitter account, and then last night realized that they had shown up as Facebook status updates (and Linked In, etc) via Ping.
I can't use HootSuite for that account if that is going to continue to happen. I'd rather see Ping.fm be added like a separate account, where I can check it if I want my Tweets to be sent to Ping.
NunyaBiz asked a question in Ping.fm on June 22, 2009 18:01:
How does Ping keep from status updates getting into loops? How does Ping keep from status updates getting into loops? I update via HootSuite, which updates Twitter, which updates Facebook. HootSuite also updates Ping, which updates Twitter & Facebook. And if I update Facebook, that will update Ping (right?), which then starts the cycle over. I do not understand how updates do not get caught in invinite loops.
