URL for each category of new postWhen my users get a 505 error page, I want to show them a link that goes directly to my GetSatisfaction community page with the "report a problem" category chosen by default. This is different from setting the default category for the widget, because the user sees it in a different context (my widget's default is "question").
I tried http://www.getsatisfaction.com/betwee..., but it doesn't work.
It would also be great if the page linked to by such URL also put the cursor right at the new post text box.

A comment on the problem "Javascript error stopping questions from being posted through Feedback Tab!" in Get Satisfaction:
It's not the most common of OS/browser setups, I'll give you that. If it's working on the common ones, then I guess it's less urgent. But thanks for looking into it! – Helder Ribeiro, on December 07, 2009 00:38-

Populate "Frequently * from the community" with other categories when neededMy website is new, so the only getsatisfaction posts are my own, and not many. I chose to show "Question" as the default type of post on the Feedback Tab but, until I have enough questions to fill the sidebar with "Frequent questions from the community", it would be nice if the list also showed Ideas, Problems and Praise.

Javascript error stopping questions from being posted through Feedback Tab!I click on the button "None of these fit, post my question" and nothing happens. Tested on Chromium 4.0.264.0 (Ubuntu build 33819). Then tested on Firefox with Firebug activated and got this error on line 6969 of feedback_base.js: "this.msg_el is undefined".
The line reads: "this.msg_el.removeClassName("good");
My website is: http://betweenmywell.com.

User-powered localizationAs Thor Muller said, the site is soon going to be internationalized. That means it will support other languages, but doesn't mean it will immediately have them.
Since we wouldn't want to wait yet another long time before (if ever) official translations are made into our language, it would be great if users ourselves could translate GetSatisfaction into our own language.
This is particularly important for languages spoken in countries where GetSatisfaction doesn't have enough commercial interest. This could come one day, or could never come.
Similar user-driven translation has been done by Facebook, Meebo, and many others. Users can both provide translations and also flag and weed out bad/improper translations. As a language gets more traction, GetSatisfaction might choose then to take control and polish it off with a professional translator.-

Helder Ribeiro marked one of Thor Muller's replies in Get Satisfaction as useful. Thor Muller replied to the question "Do I need to create a "product" for a single-product company?".

Oh, I see. Thanks! If you had answered any faster, you would've broken causality ;D – Helder Ribeiro, on December 06, 2009 02:53
Helder Ribeiro asked a question in Get Satisfaction on December 06, 2009 02:43:
Do I need to create a "product" for a single-product company? If I only have one product, do I still need to add it? The "Ask a Question" box appears on my company's front page anyway, so what's the difference? As a first-time user, I'm confused.
A comment on the idea "Please opensource Pivotal Tracker" in Pivotal Labs:
Hi Miguel,
I totally agree with the business model perspective. I just don't like it that they won't come out and say it, instead giving pseudo-techical explanations. I find it much more honest when people do it like StackOverflow:

Don Owen's reply to "ipod not connecting on Ubuntu Karmic 9.10" was just promoted to the most useful! Helder Ribeiro and 4 other people think it's one of the best replies.

That sure does mount it, but doesn't make it show up on Songbird for me. – Helder Ribeiro, on November 11, 2009 20:02-
