I've been using taskdata, a new app available on itunes. It'll let you add/edit/delete tasks that will sync wirelessly to your Microsoft Outlook.

Hmm, uhm... There has been at least something on the iPhone for To Do's, and hardly anybody ever mentions it.

If you check the mailboxes on the iPhone, there is one named "Apple Mail To Do" with To Do's from Apple's Mail app. Unfortunately, there does seem to be an issue with reading the content of the To Do's.

I've given up on using the Fido site for billing. It will work for a few months, and then something goes wrong and it becomes unusable. Also, when I moved and changed my phone number, my online account was inaccessible, and when I got back on, my whole billing history had disappeared. So I couldn't even track my usage and figure out if I was on the best plan.

I have seen major improvements with the 2.1 version of the iPhone software. I may have had only 1 dropped call after the upgrade, in two weeks use. I think we can say that the release fixed the problem

I am in Calgary Alberta Canada. Bought the i phone 3g for my son's birthday. Haven't even had it a week and failed calls!!! Very disappointed. This is happening to alot of his friends here as well. Yes Canada has a big problem with this too.....really bites.

Ok. I actually searched on a partial phone number. ie. 4595 where the phone number 514 570 4595. Sorry, I can't try on the standard web interface right now. It is blocked by the corp firewall.

It doesn't work for me on the internet interface. I try the two format 06 60 60 60 60 and 0660606060. But it doesn't work.
Maybe it's just working on the mobile interface because it's more usefull on a mobile to have the phone number of your contact.

Where/when did you "learn" this from? I just tried it myself (in the mobile interface search) and it works fine... Did you try it?

SOLVED! Thanks to my friend Eric T. Configuring two keyboards makes an icon appear (a globe) that allows to change language with a simple click! Amazing... Exactly what I wanted... :-)

I write messages in English or French, depending who I am writing to. The word auto completion works pretty well, until I want to write in the other language. There should be a way to *easily* switch from one language to another, *or* that the iPhone automatically recognizes which language I am typing in. And also it should stop suggesting words that are just never used, or words that have the same probability of being used (example: why does it suggest "sûr" in French when I type "sur", or "toute" when I typed "route". It should only display suggestions to help me type faster long words, or fix obvious mistakes, not try to get in my way all the time!)

I think it will be more efficient if issues are prioritized (for example I simply don't care about MMS when I can send an email with a picture) and submitted publicly here, instead of just the Apple feedback system. This way people can vote for issues, and issues can be commented. Also, some issues are with hardware... Do you expect Apple to upgrade your hardware for free??

There are days when I need to make a call three or four times before it gets through. I have version 2.0.2. My network provider (in Canada) advised me to use the chip that came with the iPhone, to no avail. Now I am asked to try with my old cell phone (but it'll take some time to get my hands on it)... I love the iPhone for all the apps and browsing, but, as a *phone*, pretty bad!
