Hello Olivier. Sorry for the frustration. Feedly uses both the Firefox update mechanism (for bigger release) and an internal auto-patching mechanism for bug fix and smaller feature.
I understand you concerns. I will see if we can put a special configuration knob of turning off auto-patching.
In the meantime, you can disable the extension and you should be fine.

How to disable automatic update ?Feedly download application update (as Zip file) while Firefox start up...
I use low band-width connection with paid-by-quota... That mean I would like update my extensions only when I desire them.
Why isn't extension update that Firefox could manage ?

Several Web services define author tag as "noreply@getsatisfaction.com (username)" ... Feed aggreggator ignore mail address and display username only ;o)

Hey Olivier,
I wanted to give you an update on the status of your feature request. Unfortunately, we won't be doing what you ask for. Here's why:
The author tags should be an email according to the specification. We don't publish the email addresses of users (for spam protection purposes), so we won't be adding the usernames as it goes against the spec.
Secondly, the library we use to generate RSS seems to ignore the dublin core (dc namespaced) attributes.
There is a solution though: use our API! You can find a lot of great information on the API here: http://developers.getsatisfaction.com/

Thank you for your interesting :o)
I invit you to join our community on MyBlogLog :
http://www.mybloglog.com/buzz/communi...
Or suscribe to our feed :
http://feeds.feedburner.com/life2front
It's good places to receive my announces while you could create an account ;o)
I frozen users recruitment for these reasons :
- Lifestreaming require higher server ressources... And I'm limited yet :o(
- I not finish user and admin board to manage users subscriptions... I hadn't enough time to manage more accounts myself.
- And not finish friendstream product to follow our friends network.
But LiFE2Front is a platform, and I will launch new network powered with MyBlogLog and FriendFeed related to my future "Social-Score Contest"... Anybody who get higher score could create an account.
