Unfortunately I have this problem as well. I had a Twitter user name I was using with M3, but changed the name with Twitter, it still is the same account though, just a name change. M3 won't accept it though :(
Could you email me those verification instructions at [my getsatisfaction account] at gmail.com?
Thanks!-

Mark Douglass' reply to "Block moved - also removed from non-followers - leaves loophole!!" was just promoted to the most useful! franciscat and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
As a temporary fix, you can block someone the following way:
I'm going to use GeekMommy as an example:
1. Go to the bottom of their profile page, in this case http://twitter.com/geekmommy
2. Copy the RSS link, again, using GeekMommy as an example, it is: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_time...
3. Note the user number and append it to this link (http://twitter.com/blocks/confirm/), such as http://twitter.com/blocks/confirm/430...
4. Follow the blocking instructions as usual.

Thanks Mark - but what a pain in the a** that we have to go track down the user # and manually block - they need to just put the block link back. Once again tho, this is just going unresponded to. – GeekMommy, on October 30, 2008 16:30

I guess I should have also mentioned that you will have to enter the user's number, not their username.
Easiest way to find it is at the bottom of the page, through the RSS link to their updates. – Mark Douglass, on October 30, 2008 10:52

Mark Douglass reported a problem in Twitter on October 30, 2008 09:04:
Block only available after mutual following? It appears that for the past few weeks, possibly since the Twitter UI change, the block link has disappeared from users profiles.
At first I thought maybe if I followed the person I want to block, that the link would then show up, but this is not the case either:
The link will only show up for users which I have a mutual following relationship with.
As a temporary fix I have been initiating the blocks manually (http://twitter.com/blocks/confirm/xxxxxx), but this is quite annoying.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Btw, regarding blocks, a suggestion would be to show me when I have blocked a user, once I visit their profile page. ;)

I hope you don't mind my bumping this thread, but I was suprised to see a tweet from @trevypoos on my wife's 'home' timeline (since she follows him as well), but not mine! It kinda makes me wonder how many other tweets I've missed...
This is the tweet that never turned up, incidentally:
http://twitter.com/trevypoos/statuses...
It's not a reply.. it's simply not there (nor is it on my m.twitter.com feed)! I'm worried that I'm missing out on (a small percentage of) the fun!
