Michael Shannon's dashboard

My company name is @ebc Inc. when I type that into Twit Wall, something overwrites that and links to a Twitter name, ebc. I placed a link on it directly to my website but it overwrites that as well. The only way for me to fix it is to add text to the phrase. So it reads only@ebc Inc. Which is OK but it coneys the wrong business name, just our slogan. Any way to get rid of that on your end?
