A comment on the problem "I hate ow.ly" in HootSuite:
This would be a good solution, BUT:
I saw the drop-down, I checked "Always hide the ow.ly social bar on this machine", and at the next browser restart nothing changed o.O
I'm going to investigate if it's because of something on my side, but apparently it's not: I'm accepting cookies from ow.ly and I don't think current Firefox extensions&settings are interfering.
I will let you if/when this is actually working here.

A comment on the question "AideRSS - How much time does the OPML import take?" in PostRank:
I sent Ilya the OPML file and a few hours later the problem appears to be fixed.
I have now 104 feeds, so only 1-2 feeds are still missing and that could be due to other reasons (malformed URLs and such).
Now I'm ready to fully test your service and that's what I'm going to do!
:-)
Thanks for your help. – Opensource Obscure, on May 19, 2008 17:52

Ilya,
thanks for your prompt answer!
FYI,
1.5 hours later the feeds count still says '26 feeds' (actually they were 26, not 25 as I wrote) and I don't see the other ones.
I'll let you know if and when they will appear as expected.
Thanks again : ) – Opensource Obscure, on May 19, 2008 14:50

AideRSS - How much time does the OPML import take?[i apologize for grammar errors&horrors]
How long does a 100-feeds-OPML import take?
I recently joined and I started my importing my OPML list. AideRSS imported the first 25 ones warning me that the other 80 ones 'are queued for import and will be added to your account shortly'.
How long does this usually take?-

I strongly support this request:
blip.tv is a very good video hosting service. I'm using it too, and while I never tried Vimeo, I can affirm blip.tv offers a better, better service than YouTube (they have different purposes, actually).
Also, blip.tv has a pretty cool range of APIs and methods one can use for interact with their services:

I think i prefer Socialthing, but I'll stick with Friendfeed until I can add arbitrary RSS feeds.
Please note that I am aware that Socialthing and Friendfeed are different beasts (see last blog article at http://blog.socialthing.com/2008/03/1... for a more detailed explanation), however it happens that I use Friendfeed to track _my own_ activities and I want to try using Socialthing for the same purpose (and possibly more)-
