It isn't twitter, but it is a fully integrated Second Life blogging solution. http://www.SecondBlogger.com - check it out for details. You can post from in-world using the snap shot functionality and emailing as a post card, or log in through the web site to use the familiar Wordpress interface. It is free, and everyone gets a custom URL (such as http://flipperpaperegrine.secondblogg... - by avatar name).

I have the same problem but, I use flock 1.1 on windows vista and setting flock as default still opens IE (yuck) and not flock. this gets annoying to have to ether read the artical in IE or copy past to Flock. and if I have one IE open and click on another link it opens a second IE as well as a tab in the open IE browser window. any help to get this solved would be helpful and other suggestions?

see only half but better than none. though in essence a slurl is just a special url and could be posted to twitter directly. and would not be hard at all going through twitterbox. @thomas if you want we could test this... but the real nature is not can we post a slurl to twitter, but is to checkin with said slurl with brightkite. i have a feeling it is going to be easy though than we all think I have faith that as soon as the api is released i can start to see how things are parced and may beable to modify it to do what we want with this
@Thomas hit me up in SL thier most nights(Stephen Posaner)

If there's a way to pull an SLURL in LSL, then you should be able to modify the twitter client to post an SLURL to twitter, and that'll solve half of the problem. – Thomas, on May 19, 2008 14:21

Might want to check out this related discussion, Posting to twitter from second life. Someone mentioned sl-messenger.com which already supports twitter (and I suppose could be extended to support Second Life), as well as twitterbox, a twitter client for SL. I don't know the api differences, but it might be possible to write a derivative?

it would be alowing an url variant as a place location.
other uses of this would be webpage veiwing( which could go ither way)
how could I get on the bleeding edge of news to find out when the API will be released.
shout to any one I dont program but what i know on something I can pass on and am willing to do the reserch to help a project like this move forward
