Orin Zebest marked one of Que Quotion's replies in Apple as useful. Que Quotion replied to the question "How can I delete an iPhone calendar?".
Orin Zebest replied on November 05, 2009 22:03 to the question "Is there a way to block a sender in gmail?" in Google:
I have a filter in Gmail that effectively does what you want. I use an auto-responder to send back a "mail has been rejected" type message whenever someone I've blacklisted emails me. Here's what I did:
1. First, in Settings > Labs, enable Canned Responses — this is the auto-responder.
2. Compose a new message, the message that will go out whenever someone on the block list emails you.
3. From the top of the compose bar, select Canned Responses > Save new canned response.
3. Go to Settings > Filters > Create a new filter
4. Put the problem sender's address in the from: field, click "Next Step"
5. Check off any options you want — skip the inbox, delete if necessary, and make sure to click the very last option to send them your canned response.
At the very least, this solution means you won't have to be bothered looking at them, but they don't necessarily have to be deleted. And perhaps if the sender gets an annoying automated reply EVERY time they email you something, they'll stop sending you annoying email.

A comment on the question "Line Breaks in Twitter???" in Twitter:
The only thing you CAN do is to ask the folks who run Twitter to implement it on their site. I've been using it for years now and never, not once, have I seen a tweet that was displayed with line breaks preserved. Sadly, this is just one of those things. As mentioned, some clients can do this — but as far as twitter.com, right now it's Impossible with a capital I. Sad face :-( – Orin Zebest, on August 04, 2009 08:58

You could, alternately, just use shift+enter. – Orin Zebest, on August 04, 2009 08:56
z's reply to "twittering on livejournal (is it possible?)" was just promoted to the most useful! Orin Zebest and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Orin Zebest replied on May 27, 2009 11:05 to the question "Line Breaks in Twitter???" in Twitter:
In my browser (Flock, a version of Firefox/Mozilla) I use the key combination shift+enter. This will, in most places you can write, make a new line WITHOUT issuing a "send" command... think instant messenger programs. You can, in fact, enter multi-line tweets right from your Twitter home page.
The problem you're encountering is one of display. If you were to look at the source code of one of my recent tweets, you'd see that each sentence is on a new line (right click & "view source" to see). But browsers won't assume that, just because something in the HTML source code is on a new line, that's how it should be displayed. They are treated as spaces... because to the browser, that's what those source code line breaks are—spaces. If the code had a break tag, <br> or <br />, those would display as line breaks. Of course, you can't use HTML in tweets so that's a dead end. Line breaks haven't been important enough for Twitter to care about.
Other people do care, which is why Favrd displays them as expected. The designer of that site bothered to adapt his code so that line breaks are converted into '<br>' in the source code. There are also a few iPhone apps which get this right, too, but it's in no way universal.
Best solution would be for Twitter to step up to the plate after a bunch of us start asking for it.That, or I suppose you could always try to get yourself on Favrd more often ;-)-

A comment on the problem "How can I Change Youtube account name" in YouTube:
You CAN NOT change your user name. YouTube will not allow you. If you want to have a new name, you must create a new account. This is the ONLY way to "change" your name. – Orin Zebest, on September 30, 2008 11:21

Orin Zebest replied on September 18, 2008 00:43 to the idea "Flickr integration with Yelp" in Yelp:
There is quite an easy way, and it's called machine tags. An example would be "yelp:place=6789". This requires that Yelp use a Flickr API key, which is also pretty easy. The one hurdle I've heard mentioned is that Yelp wants a certain degree of control. Personally, I think the degree to which users have to go out of their way to upload photos to Yelp right now trumps that. This is an easy, useful, enjoyable addition to Yelp and I'd really like to see it made real.

OrinZ replied on July 20, 2008 06:30 to the problem "How can I Change Youtube account name" in YouTube:
Yeah, Youtube gives a somewhat cop-out answer to this question:
"Currently, you cannot change your username— there is simply too much information tied to each account. You may, however, sign up for a new account with the username that you desire."
Of course, this notion is a little suspicious... unless their databases are organized in a very un-futureproof manner. My guess is that they just don't want loads of people changing them all the time, and/or want to keep the permalinks more perma, so they continue to show up in web search results. Those are both decent reasons, but still... I feel your pain.
