The problem IS still there with 1.5.6. There is now a class action case coming up regarding this.

So far the fan program worked well NO PROBLEMS!! Turned a $2000 white brick into a working computer again!

I have an Intel Intel Imac 24" (first ed), that has leaves screen artifacts behind and lines. I run software tests that tell me the video memory is fine and my memory is fine. The computer at random draws random lines through the screen and some times parts of windows stick when moved.
