Thanks for the quick response, and for confirming that this is a twitter / identi.ca username collision.
Thanks for adding identi.ca support. It's definitely appreciated, even if it's unofficial for the moment.
Can't wait to see a fix for this, though I'm sure you have quite a bit on your plate at the moment.
Finally, thanks for creating Tweetie 2. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with an application. It was probably Peggle.

MatStace. Thanks for confirming that. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that was having this problem.
I had the same experience. Deleting and re-adding the twitter account fixed twitter but broke identi.ca.
It does seem that the credentials are keyed to the username.
(I should add that I'm still going to use Tweetie 2, because the interface is such a pleasure to use.)
Jeff Van Campen replied on October 10, 2009 10:45 to the question "What about adding identica support ?" in atebits:
I've had a problem with this. Both my twitter and identi.ca usernames are the same but use a different password. When I set up identi.ca, it works fine; however, when I return to the twitter account I can't refresh the twitter stream. I get an "Unauthorized. Coul..." error messages (see attached image).
I'm assuming the identi.ca credentials have somehow overwritten the twitter credentials because I'm using the same username for both?
I know this isn't officially supported, but this seems a bit odd to me.

Thanks for that, Cristian. We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
My initial thought was to prepend the node with a '+'. The problem is that this could easily confuse the meaning of the '-', which is used to indicate a sub-node.
In any case, I'd also love to have a way to make certain items selectable and others non-selectable in the data-driven components.
Thanks again for the quick response.

Tree component - set item to be open by default? Is there any way to set a top-level item in a tree view to be open by default? In some cases, we'd like to provide focus on some of the sub-items, but not others. Should we just open the top-level item in preview mode and then move back to design mode? This seems to work, but we're not sure if this will persist.

I'm getting the same "MUST BE AN AUDIO FILE" error when trying to add the following m4a file:

I tried to add the file from this page using the Huffduffer bookmarklet:

Jeff Van Campen asked a question in Huffduffer on May 21, 2009 09:32:
Does the Tags field have a 256 character limit? For my most recent huffduffer post, I was inspired to play with machine tags. Admittedly I may have overdone it a bit, but I seem to have run into a 256 character limit in the Tags field.
Steps to reproduce:
1. On a page with a linked audio file, use the "Huffduff It" bookmarklet to post the audio to Huffduffer.
2. Choose a file and enter the information. Go wild in the Tags field. Add lost of machine tags (over 256 characters worth).
3. Click "Huffduff It" to submit the post.
Result:
The collection of tags (as opposed to individual tags) seems to be truncated at 256 characters (including quotes and / or commas).
I've also reproduced this within the main Edit interface with the same result.

I think that I encountered this problem when I deleted most of the information stored in my keychain (I was taking my MacBook in for repairs).
I found a partial solution on the Won't Save My Login Settings thread.
After following Marco's recommendations, twhirl is now remembering my authentication details.
It's still forgetting the position of the various windows, which it remembered before.
