Will comments be in a future release of Soup?I know it's a micro-blog, but it's so awesome that visitors want to comment every now and then, without having to register on the website ;-)

Thanks for all the hard work! ;-)

Deva is right, I just checked the issue again, with the update you made, and the problem now is just that the Text Area, where we write/edit the description, doesn't show in IE7, but we can still write in it.
I use a very dark background on my Soup, so, if I can't see the "white background" of the Text Area, it becomes black text with black background. I posted a screenshot in my soup, with @feedback for the user feedback.soup.io, so you can check it out, ok?
Thanks! ;-)

Hmm, don't know if you've already put the new code online, but the issue still remains (just thought you would like to know).
it seems that all the buttons for editing a Repost with an "Image Post", disappear in IE7, I don't know what's causing this, but it's quite annoying : P
If you have the time, let me know when you fix it, people keep complaining to me about this problem in IE (heehee, they're beginning use me as a messenger for Soup feedback)! : D
Again, thanks a lot, Cristopher! ;-)

Hi, Cristopher!
And I'm thankful someone's fixing them! \o/
I don't use IE7 that much (only for validating websites at work), but a lot of people I invited to join Soup do, and they're helping me to report these issues :-)
I hope we can help you guys get the best out of Soup, so far is working great, and I'm eager to the next improvements on notifications/comments, etc!
Keep up the good work! Anything you need, talk to me!
I'm a webdesigner myself, so if you need help or need to know anything technical, you can ask me, ok? I'll be glad to help!!
Cheers!-

Hi, Cristopher, how's it going! Thanks for reading and answering our questions about Soup! It's such a great tool, and I think we all wanna help making it even better! ;-)
I don't know if my request is in the same category as your reply to this topic, but I think it might fit, so I'll put it in here, ok?
I think Notifications should appear somewhere in our own Soup page and we should be able to choose if we want "Soup" to send us notifications to our e-mail (such as "somebody added ou as friend", or "post addressed to you").
That's it, thanks again! :-) – Paulo Henrique Gallian, on May 31, 2008 13:54

Bug in IE7 - I can't add description to a photo when I'm postingBug in IE7 - I can't add description to a photo when I'm posting. I have to post the photo without the description, wait for it to show up on my Soup, then add the description by editing the photo.

Hi, Esad! :-)
Maybe we should have this option when reblogging, until comments are implemented: http://getsatisfaction.com/soup/topic...

Reactions to files/photos/videos should have an option like "do not include original file in post".Sometimes I just want to post a Reaction to a photo or a video but without actually posting them in MY Soup. When my friend posts a text, and I wanna react to that, I can delete the original content to avoid duplication (after all, I'm not reposting). It should work that way with all the files to.
Example: My friend posted a personal photo in his Soup. I loved it and wanna write a Reaction. I don't necessarily want to REPOST his photo, I just want to comment on it. We should be able to choose if we want to include the original file in our Reactions. ;-)
