Glad to be of help. You are always so responsive and prompt!
The new art is beautiful, the colors are just less "unique". It was easier to spot the old icon on the screen. Lots of apps use round shapes and blue or red. I liked that it was abstract with references to the colors of produce, aerial views of farm fields and pixels. It was more sophisticated, but the new icon and home screen definitely refer to how the app works, with the clock/count down thing.

Locavore 2.1 crashing: Coming in Season Soon

Just installed 2.1. After it launches, the Coming in Season Soon area of the In Season screen reads "no new food coming in season soon". When I click on that section the app crashes and returns to the iPhone main screen after a brief blackout. The Currently In Season area is populated.
iPhone 3G 16G, software version 3.1.2, location is automatic, but I live in 10023 (NY NY), if that helps.
I appreciate that the app loads more quickly, but I miss the colors in the original grid.

Yes, strange. I solved it by going into iTunes when the phone was connected, unchecking Locavore in Apps to be Synced, did a sync, then re-checked Locavore and synced again and it reappeared on the phone.
I was afraid of downloading again and being charged since Locavore seemed to be missing, I wasn't sure if iTunes would see it either. If that makes sense.
I couldn't pinpoint whether it was a specific conflict with another app since I had updated and installed new apps aplenty last week.

I solved it by uninstalling the invisible Locavore app and re-installing it. Weird

For some reason Locavore (v. 1.01) is no longer showing up on my 3G iPhone (16gig White, software v. 2.2). I can see it on my computer in iTunes, and it is checked to sync with the phone. What happened? I paid for it and everything! I live in NYC, in case that matters
