I've just tried in Safari, and it does not have this problem...

When you go to http://pownce.com/send/file/ the "post a note..." field, the "Send to:" box and the "Post It!" button are missing.

Moreover, if you click on "Message"/"Link"/"Event" from there, they'll still be missing.

As a workaround, you can put your private Pownce RSS feed in Google Reader and use that to search your posts (or even mark posts as favourite).

Of course, any RSS reader with a search option will give similar results.

Pownce is now almost perfect. If you add the ability to send notes to more than one person at a time without creating a group, you'll officially be perfect.

This still seems to be a problem. I know it's on the list of things to be fixed, and I'm sure that it's considered a minor issue, but visible issues like this can tend to damage the image of a company (or service) if they happen over a prolonged period of time.

Overall, I'm less concerned about the bug itself and more concerned about Pownce's image.
