This is what I've done (and works), maybe will help:
I've got a laptop which I use at home and at work, so I have two user accounts, but both share the same songbird profile. This is what I did:
a) I installed sonbird and added all my songs with the account A1.
That created a profile in C:\Documents and Settings\A1\Application Data\Songbird2
b) I logged in with the account A2 and runned Songbird. This created a profile for this account.
c) I entered in C:\Documents and Settings\A2\Application Data\Songbird2 and edited profiles.ini adding a new profile:
[Profile1]
Name=myAccount Profile name
IsRelative=0 1 or 0, indicates if the path is relative or not, choose 0
Path=C:\Documents and Settings\A1\Application Data\Songbird2\Profiles\asdf242.default here I wrote the path of my profile
Default=1 Indicates if is loaded by default
d) I runned Songbird using the Start menu shortcut (Profile manager) and checked that the profile was listed and selected by default.
I hope this can help.
PD: The path of the songs library can't be changed, I think is in a db file in the profile folders. (In a binary file)
