Hi Bill, I also have this problem only I have an Inspiron 1521. I'm only about 5 Months out of the warranty, so I suppose my battery did it's job, for 1.5 years. Can you place the link if there is a separate battery for MY model? I too am a college student and there's no way I can plan to shed 150.00 for my battery. You guys should consider creating a College Student Warranty for students where the battery is included for an extended amount of time. Also, I'd have the same question about the mAH measurements versus the Wh measurements Dell uses. How is it different, if so?
