This is a fantastic idea!!! I'm glad to see that it has been implemented to help this community.

I work with Kokomo Urban Outreach just an hour away from Indianapolis. We operate Neighborhoods of HOPE in currently 13 underresourced neighborhoods in Kokomo, Indiana. Because the unemployment rate in Kokomo and Indiana, it is one of the highest in the country. We are seeing an increase in our feeding programs, food pantry usage, children's programs, and in the many areas that we try to provide parents with the means to provide for the very basic of family needs - hygiene! The biggest demand in our food pantries is for laundry detergent - that is if the household even has a washer and dryer. Transportation is also a problem. Can you imagine having to carry laundry for a family of 3-4-5-6 at least 6 blocks?

Setting up a mobile laundromat with the help of Tide and Loads of Hope would be a blessing to the thousands of families we provide Hope to. How can we make this happen in Kokomo, IN??
