One thing i miss on soundcloud is a way to actually see your quoata, a good idea would be to place this in Your acount plan. Just a reminder the date of the latest upload so you know when your able to upload again. Hopefully they will consider this as this is kind of important to many people uploading. Where all on a schedule here. :)

It would be great if we could add tags or keywords to tracks and mixes to make searching easier. As for now this isnt possible.

Id like to see more viewing options mostly for tracks section. Think sets on the fly as an example. Just more viewing angles would be great in every aspect. It might help you find what your looknig for :)

yeah. changeing it is the best idea.. i change the pass for most of my accounts in about every six months or so. Use something like this http://www.pctools.com/guides/password/ and try to go with openid. Unfortuneatly soundcloud dosent support openid...... yet. :)

So how does soundcloud handle backups? We maybe shouldnt entrust ourself to the service as the state is of today? It would be cool if soundcloud had great integration with other backup/content managers like amazon s3 for example. You have already proven that soundcloud can use twitters api and oauth to tweet new uploads. Would be great if we after an upload automaticly could push the file from soundcloud to s3 and vice versa. I wish we could exclude an middleman so we dont have to download files or upload them twice somewhere else. Everything should be handled by the service transparent just like with twitter.

another type of uploading failure when replacing

Failure replacing file that couldnt be encoded by the cloud, re-upload (replace) worked but it didnt replace the waveform. It was a regular mp3 file.
