I mean, how can you try to push a program that is in it's foundation designed and structured around music but can't playback music at a bearable quality? I mean, c'mon. It's a great music library application I guess, if you could somehow get the songs to launch in an external player when you wanted to play them.

Why is there an apparent discrepancy between Songbird's sound output and that of, say, iTunes? Music played from iTunes sounds of much better quality than tracks played in songbird...what gives?
