dhannan replied on October 08, 2009 17:49 to the question "Maximum frame rate for secondary video sources?" in Panopto:
Hi Will,
If you open c:\Program Files\Panopto\Panopto Recorder and open object.prx in notepad, you can make the below change. This will make the secondary video play back at a slightly higher framerate.
Find avgtimeperframe="2500000" and change it to "0000000"
**These files should be editied at your own risk.**
If you are just talking about screen capture, those settings can be changed in the recorder - settings - advanced settings (screen capture framerate slider).
Let us know how this works out.
Dave

Hi Alan,
This isn't an option in the recorder yet. There are some other options for re-uploading the recording though. If you could e-mail support@panopto.com and let us know which school/company your with we can see if we can help you out.
Thanks,
Dave

All I can suggest is to double check that you're using domain\username in the connectionUsername field. Also, pay attention to step 7 as incorrect syntax can cause the problem.
The easiest way to fix is to join the server to your domain.
Alternatively, if you wanted to pay for an individual support incident, we can take a look at this and make sure it's working for you.
Beyond that, our hands are tied.

Dave

Can you e-mail the web.config file to support@panopto.com? We also need to verify which school you are with to verify if you're supported or not.
dhannan replied on September 17, 2009 18:43 to the question "LDAP non Anonymous Binding" in Panopto:
If you add the below sections into the providers section of the web.config, this will allow AD authentication to work.
connectionUsername="UserWithAppropriateRights"
connectionPassword="PasswordForUser"
I've updated our support documents as well: http://support.panopto.com/Version/2....

dhannan replied on September 15, 2009 19:51 to the question "View offline?" in Panopto:
Hi Nigel,
This is a very timely question. We just upgraded your CourseCast server last week to the latest 2.2 release. This version allows for you download individual sessions directly from the web interface. Once downloaded, you can re-watch the recording in the standard viewer (even if you're not online).
To download an individual session:
Log into web interface
Click Folders
Locate the session that you want to download
Click details (to the right of that sessions)
Scroll down and locate the download link
This will allow you to grab a zip file that has an offline copy of the recording. To play any recording, click the default.htm after you extract the zip file.
You can also do a batch export if you want to export all of the recordings (click the drop down box at the top of the Folders page - Export).
Hope you find this helpful!
Dave

Could you e-mail support@panopto.com with your contact/school information? We need to verify your support contract before we can assist any further.

Does it work internally? Can you e-mail support@panopto.com as well so that we can verify your school affiliation and see if you're under a support agreement or not?
dhannan replied on August 24, 2009 18:17 to the question "off campus viewing" in Panopto:
Hi,
Please refer to this page for the firewall ports. You need 8080 for off campus viewing.

Hi Nick,
As you're not under a support agreement we are unable to take a direct look at the server for you. All I can suggest is that you go back and double check the installation documentation/ video tutorials to ensure that everything has been properly installed on the server. Alternatively, you can purchase an individual support incident. Please e-mail support@panopto.com for more information.
