In order to crush Hulu, Boxee needs to incorporate continuous play.

After I select an episode, just keep streaming other episodes of that show, similar show, things I might like, yadda yadda. I don't care what it is, but don't for God's sake, make me have to keep clicking the mouse like I'm fetching a stick.

My TV doesn't punish me like this, why should my computer?

BTW - This is a great source of revenue. Content providers might be willing to pay to be placed higher in the auto selected content. Let them purchase placement! This is also where paid, targeted advertisement goes. You have a rapt audience that's just too lazy to do anything else but watch the next thing you feed. So just feed already!

The entire process should be keep feeding whatever, until I decide to redirect the content, and then follow that redirect and feed that stuff.

The most important thing is uninterrupted flow.

Right now Hulu's servers are overloaded, because everyone LOVES this continuous play thing. If Boxee is to get a chunk of the crowd, it has to play continuously and do so immediately!
