Same problem here, the ad that locked up Spotify was "Verkkokauppa.com". After a restart Spotify is playing music again, but won't automatically go to the next track in the playlist, I have to double click to play the next song. (Windows XP)

A workaround: you can drag the playlists out of Spotify onto the desktop and arrange the shortcuts in folders there.

Actually, I think you can do this by just saving links to your playlists. Deleting them in Spotify only seems to hide them, because clicking a desktop shortcut to a deleted playlist resurrects it.
