A comment on the idea "Nike+ plus GPS, HR Monitor, and data export = ultimate workout device" in NikeRunning/Nike+:
For me it’s more important to see my stats on a bigger screen on my Laptop or Desktop computer. Reviewing them on my iPhone isn’t working. That's why the OP wanted an data export possibility that is better than the workaround via TrialRunner f.eg. – pattulus, on September 28, 2009 07:11

Picasa OS X - drag and drop from Finder to PicasaWe need the ability to drag and drop files from the Finder to Picasa or to specific album in Picasa. This would greatly enhance the Picasa experience and workflow a lot.

A comment on the idea "Sparkle for Dropbox Mac" in Dropbox:
ähm... speaking for all my dropbox using friends and me.
» Dropbox never has done an auto-update. I always have to do it by hand. I often check if there’s an update and then inform my friends whether to download it or not.
I mean... 15 people... I just thought you don’t want to use this feature or just don’t like the beloved sparkle despite of it being kind of an (mac) industrie standard. – pattulus, on August 27, 2009 08:19-

I added SmileOnMyMac to GetSatisfaction... I just wanted them to appear in here... so this shouldn’t be too hard for you to setup. It's as easy as your registration... – pattulus, on July 30, 2009 04:01
A comment on the update "Test build of Hyperspaces 1.0 beta 8 is available" in The CocoaBots:
You can do this by building up an Applescript which triggers your menubar apps with a small delay in the order you want them to appear on the menubar.
Noe clear everything from the startup menu in your user account and just add your script in as an startup item.

Notes:
• you will never be able to change the position in Hyperspaces itself
• the only you can change are the apple icons by holding ⌥+⌘ and
click moving them – pattulus, on July 21, 2009 14:57-

Flight Control FX + my own music = missing featureI’m one of the Captains who isn’t satisfied with the current way you implemented the Sound On/Off option. Cause when I’m listening to my own music, podcasts or audiobooks I still need the FX/alarm sounds of Flight Control to check if I hit runway correctly or if some planes are about to collide with another.
So please could you do some magic that Flight Plane is usable with "my own" music. Would be great, the only way to play it is with the game sounds and even then the normal melody is sometimes no there. Habor Master has implemented this feature quit good.

Why isn’t there a good way to sync TextExpander over several Mac’s?Is there a better sync alternative planed like a own keychain like system?
The 1Password Crew aka Agile Software made such a thing for 1Password and the sync is finally a sync.
Like you know, syncing via mobileme is far off from being reliable.

Hi staff,
I finally inform myself about open-tags/open-meta and extended attributs. I quite like the idea, but am worried about that they are not supported by apple (yet).
What I ponder about is the following:
When an upcoming update from apple breaks the way the files got recognized, is this only affecting Spotlight or also Tags. Meaning: can I still access my pre-made tags via Tags (so that I can manually back the up)?
pattulus asked a question in Dropbox on March 10, 2009 09:56:
When will there be support for OS X’s Folder Preview, Icons, Spotlight Comments and Labels? We Mac Users need support for this - it all comes down to a better support:
- Spotlight Comments
- Folder Icons
- Preview Icons
- maybe extendend attributes aka OPENmeta - see more for and ask the dev for integrating this new standart into Dropbox
Cheers,
Patrick who loves his Dropbox.
