I can't get the .ics files I get from Sandy to import into Google Calendar or iCal. iCal interprets them with no time specified (ie, all day events) and Google parses them as occurring at import time, if it manages to figure them out at all.

Similarly, I asked Herself to remember something that would last 6 weeks:

schedule X from 2 - 2:30 for the next 6 weeks.

and darned if she didn't get it. But the last date is the Thursday before the 7th meeting (they are all Fridays), which confused me. I would have expected it to be the final Friday @ 2:30.

Still, it's what I asked for.

mark me down as someone who would like to be able to name lists (frinstance Trader Joe's) and simply manipulate it that way. Maybe preface it with a # as if it were a number?

and Sandy could do a partial match on trader. If I ever had such a thing as a smartphone, it might be possible to look up the original message but as with a Real Assistant, simply saying "add X to list A" would be pretty useful.

It would have been more useful to address some of the issues raised here, to wit:
* the less than helpful notifications
* the fact that the daemon runs with permissions no application should need
* and my personal pet peeve, that for all the cycles it used and backups that failed, it would literally crush my system to where I couldn't use it.

I have a similar issue: I have an event listed as being on Jan 9 but it shows on thursday's agenda. It's odd, as if she is looking at a different span of 24 hours than I am. The event is here (http://iwantsandy.com/612399). I assume no one can see it but Sandy's minions and me . . . .

I have to agree with Amy Muller. The free version just stopped working and I never knew, nor could I fix it without starting over. That and the fact that their daemon process ran as root (yikes!) put me off. I rolled my own backups with rsync until such time as I can buy Leopard and a machine to run it on.

Looks like Verizon is not being helpful. I can't get twitter to work over it either since they don't provide SMS type numbers to work with. Bah. I'll just take one-way emails or now, I guess.
