We recently had a bug opened that made us realize that the current Windows instructions are outdated.

A paraphrase of my comments in the bug:
The version of the Flash add-on linked to in Get Satisfaction is too old to be used with either Songbird or current versions of Firefox.

The Mozilla/Firefox has changed the method that add-on installation uses, and
this add-on uses the older method. (install.js instead of the current install.rdf method)

Your best bet is to go directly to Adobe's home page and install the current
Flash player.

I've confirmed that this works with my own copy of Songbird in Windows XP
