Amy, I don't think it was the management view. I'll give you a link to page 3: http://getsatisfaction.com/people/pau... I don't know how much clearer I could get.
Paul Walker asked a question in Get Satisfaction on June 17, 2009 16:48:
Where is the reply posting space?I am following a problem on the dashboard. I wish to report the problem as closed---mysteriously with no further input from me. I presume it was some automatic update that fixed the problem. I scrolled to the end of 3 columns on the dashboard, but found no place to post the reply. What's a fellow to do?

Nate, your reply gave me a clue: Perhaps it is the dual folders in Favorites that is the real problem. So I rebooted to Safe Mode, deleted the duplicate folders---it complained first about a much shorter Favorites, then proceeded to go ahead & sync successfully. (Now if I could figure out a method to reorganize my Favorites/Bookmarks (my main browser is Firefox), eliminate duplicates & other almost-duplicate folders, etc., I would really be happy!). But as it is, I'm happy with what I do have now.

1. Perchance, does this have any relationship to the fact that Firefox is my default browser? 2. I had to reboot a little time ago, and the XMarks tray icon was clear & the journal indicates 1 successful sync. Then I decided to arbitrarily synchronize the Favorites, and bang, an error! 3. Then I looked at where the error occurred, and 3 more "weirdos" showed up (1) it bombed on a specific URL so I checked the folders & deleted the URL in question and tried again and it bombed on the same URL even though I use a shift-delete to keep it out of the recycle folder. (2 weirdo) There were duplicate-named folders in Favorites. BTW, when I deleted the URL, I deleted it in in both folders. (3 weirdo) I tried to delete the duplicate folders, but was prevented from doing so.
