FlickrExport: Optionally add watermark to photos as they are being sent to FlickrHello -
I'd like to have watermarks on all photos I export to Flickr - just something simple like a copyright message (or image) overlayed at the bottom corner of the photo.
I'd prefer to keep my iPhoto library on my Mac *un*-watermarked ('originals'). So, existing standalone tools that'll watermark the photos on my Mac aren't what I'm looking for.
It would be nice if FlickrExport could add a watermark to photos as it uploads (similar to how it can optionally resize image on upload). I personally always upload the full-size (original resolution) image, so I'd like the watermark option to be separate from resizing, but I assume others like to resize (and may also want watermarking).
Of course, you can probably go wild with all the various watermarking options (location, single image versus tiling, text versus image, etc). I'd personally like to have the ability to select the 'opaque-ness' (so the watermark can be more subtle).
I think I'd always watermark with a fixed image/text per 'export' (copyright message), but maybe others would like to watermark images with their 'title', 'description', or 'album name'.
Thanks!

FlickrExport: Allow multiple (or background) exports at the same timeHi -
I use FlickrExport for iPhoto pretty extensively.
My normal use involves:
-- Create several Smart Albums in iPhoto
-- Select one Smart Album, choose "File->Export" to export to Flickr, and choose "Add to photostream plus new set"
-- Wait for the entire Smart Album to finish exporting
-- Select the next Smart album, export it, and wait
-- etc, etc.
I'd like to get rid of the "Wait" step. If it were possible to run each export 'in the background', then after I start one export, I could immediately start another.
But, perhaps this would confuse Flickr (getting multiple 'add to photostream' requests at the same time). If so, then maybe when I choose to export the second album, it would be added to a 'queue' for the export that is currently running (so it'll start automatically after the first one finishes). Either way: I won't need to wait until each export finishes - I can 'batch' them and walk away.
Just a suggestion that would make my life easier (and I assume others).
Thanks for the great product!

FlickrExport for iPhoto: get default album name from selected albumHi -
I use FlickrExport for iPhoto pretty extensively.
When I choose export, then select "Add photos to: Photostream and New Photoset", it would be nice if the pop-up prompt for photoset name would come up pre-filled-in with the currently selected Album/Smart-Album name (similar to what Picasa Web Albums plugin for iPhoto does).
I'm not sure if others work this way, but I usually create a bunch of "Smart Albums" first in iPhoto, then (one-by-one) I'll select a Smart Album, then choose "File->Export" to export to Flickr. I'd prefer to NOT have to re-type the name of the current Smart Album (or "Copy" the album name before "File->Export" so I can "Paste" into the pop-up).
Even better: I'd like to be able to select *several* Smart Albums, and have FlickrExport create multiple Photosets from the names of the selected albums (and put the appropriate photos from each Smart Album into the correct Photoset). But, I'm guessing that the iPhoto plugin API doesn't give you that much info.
Thanks for the great product!
