I too like to see the urls. As a workaround (not a solution) I have enabled the preview feature on tinyurl.com. – Callum Macdonald, on October 07, 2008 12:17

Another issue is that tinyurl.com links to some simply awful anti Net Neutrality stuff on their homepage, e.g.: http://www.dontregulate.org/ . Pretty ridiculous, and I imagine Twitter is in favor of Net neutrality.

I think it would be a good idea if in the twitter-settings you could choose whether you want to use a short-url-service or not.
Btw - I am also annoyed by the exclusivity of tinyurl.com - maybe twitter could even implement the "short-url on-off" combined with a form in which you simply write the URL of the short-url-service you want to use, such as is.gd, te.tl, bit.ly, turl.us, rurl.org and so on.

why are you people bringing up stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with wuala at all.
as for 50%cpu usage, that is also possible on multicore/smp/numa environments. wuala only seems to use one single thread at maximum core usage, so with a dual-core environment, that makes exactly 50% of total cpu load. on quadcore thats 25% and so on.
before bringing up topics please do think yourselves a little bit about your topics before posting and do some research for starters.

Regarding that bug, I don't think it's fixed yet. My Local Cache size is 7GB. It says that I have 2.7GB used and when I click 'Clear cache', I still have 2.7GB used. Meanwhile, my wuala folder has 4.7GB (and I'm not uploading nor downloading anything).
But it's OK with me. Optimize it when you have the time. Since maintenance is not essential and it's used mainly to improve download speed I'll delete the wuala folder if it becomes really really big.

Hi iav,
Complex search queries are not yet possible. We do not have plans to change this until the beta release. But it is planned to improve this later - it is on our long-term todo list..
If you enter a search query with more than one search term, every item matching at least one term is returned. Those matching more than one term have a better ranking.

I finished uploading a few files last night, totalling about 100 MB. I was annoyed when my dodgy Internet connection then died during the 'maintenance' phase. When I reconnected and logged back into Wuala, the maintenance did not resume.
Is there a way that I can manually re-initiate this, to continue spreading the 100 MB across the P2P network? If not, how long must I wait before the next maintenance phase for these files will begin automatically?-
