It wasn't there so I added it and changed the stream address but the link on the schedule won't change.

Changing Watch Live Link within Schedule

I am looking to change the watch live link on the public schedule and I can't find where the change is to be made. I searched and found that I should go to Location Settings and I/O and then look into the Live IP Video link but all I have is a link saying On Demand IP Video.The live stream is working fine but I need to change it to the new ip address.

I thought that was the place to do it. Still no luck, though. I'm thinking there's something wrong on the IT side of things right now so I need to make sure before I drive myself crazy.

Basically what I need to do is when someone hits the (view) on the schedule to pull up a VOD the (view) link needs to point to Vod.revere.mec.edu.

So I have everything ready to get our website going. As of right now the address is http://rpstv.revere.mec.edu/. Still needs tons of work but I need to get the streaming working first. Our IT Staff has set up NAT'd IP's for the VOD and SXLive servers but I can't figure out how to tell the webpage to call up the servers. Anywhere I can find some info on this?

Ok so checking the output of the carousel there is no static but the white line are still there on the start of the video. So the modulator is the cause of the noise since the white lines are pushing it.

The Carousel is running through a router and then to the mod.

It's happening within the whole Carousel output. The video block is fine. It's happened to every video I've ever tried.

Whenever I add a video box to a bulletin right at the moment the video is about to start playing I get a static or crackling noise and the lower portion of the screen breaks up into white lines for a couple of seconds. The video ends without this issue, though.

Anybody have this problem? I'm reluctant to use video in the bulletin board which is too bad since I'd like to utilize it more.

Hi John,

My situation is that we have a live school meeting today. I obviously don't know for sure how long it run or if it'll even start on time so inputting an end time is impossible. I won't be around a computer to make the switch when the meeting is over so once the camera operator in the committee room goes black there is no going to the Carousel until I get to a computer unless I'm missing something. Is there a way for the the system to switch when the cameras go off (no signal) to make the switch to Carousel? Hmm now that I'm typing this it is probably more of a function of the Knox switcher.

Is there a way to set up a no signal default to Carousel? For instance when running our school committee meeting live I can set it up to start but I have to be available to switch it back to Carousel. Can this be automated?

Well that would be pretty cool. :) I still like the idea of having a bin of clips that can be played in a random order within a specified bulletin. Maybe this is something I only care about? But I like the idea. Would that idea incorporate me specifying what part of the show plays within your bulletin idea?

Why are my shows cutting off? I recently updated my SX4 and Carousel and now I'm having scheduled shows cut off the last several seconds or so. I've checked the run time and have my shows set correctly. Not to mention this was not a problem before the update. Any ideas?

Sure. Sorry I wasn't clear enough. I want to be able to make a number of clips from shows that will be airing or that are airing on our channel and play them like I would any video clip that I might upload to the Carousel.

For instance I have kind of a 50's theme on some of our bulletins. One of the bulletins is of a drive-in theater that shows coming attractions/now showing video within the screen using a video block. I can easily make a clip to play in that video block. What would be great (at least for me) is to be able to have a bunch of clips that I've created from our shows to play in that one video block one at a time and randomly.

I am getting audio noise (Crackling) on a bulletin that has a video block. I can see some video noise (White lines which are off screen) at the bottom of the screen at the very start of the bulletin and then the video plays within the bulletin with no problem. The noise is not on the original video file. Anybody else have this happen?

Clock not moving correctly on crawl!

I have a four zone set up with three zones on top and one larger zone filling the rest on the bottom two thirds. When I try to add a crawl all the zones squish upwards except the clock zone which is dead center on the top of the screen. Is there a reason for this?
