This bug is resolved in the latest nightly, and will be fixed in the next release (probably 2.1). Thanks for reporting your issue.

I'm sorry; this is a bug in Miro that causes the dialog to be hidden. In the meantime, you can submit your feed at https://www.miroguide.com/submit/

Talbot: It sounds like your VLC plugin is broken or outdated in some way. Have you tried reinstalling it, or upgrading to a newer version?

Dean: We don't control what plugin is used to render the content. We just tell the browser what kind of content it is and it handles things from there.
