Phil started following the problem "Can't synchronize Xmarks on Safari" in Xmarks.

Bill Kaupe's reply to "Can't synchronize Xmarks on Safari" was just promoted to the most useful! Phil and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.

Here's how I fixed it on the one computer that had problems.
- stopped Xmarks in System Prefs
- deleted everything in ~/Library/Xmarks
- started Xmarks again in System Prefs [it went through the new install process]
- I synched using the server, not the default using local bookmarks

Is there a way to mark the items on the Wall as read (aka the recommendations from others)? Also like a way to only show new recommendations.

So when I recommend a story in Feedly it looks like it stars and shares it in Google Reader. Sharing makes sense, but why the star? I access Google Reader fairly often from my iPhone, and I typically use star for saving items I want to read later. Now if I start recommending stories my starred folder in Google Reader will become flooded.
