pc shared an idea in BumpTop on October 30, 2008 22:24:

source code and/or symbols for bumptop.exe

i beleave it would be a good idea to release eather source code or symbols for bumptop.exe so when it crashes, those of us with programming skills can debug and report back with much more information and passably solving glitch's... and by doing so. we could cut the beta time in half if not, more!

...it is hard and annoying to debug in Assembly.

well hold down shift. left click and drag out of the folder. that should work. tell me if i tdoesnt

well just a hint....don't try to make a pile with more than 500 items :) it crashes on my laptop

(not relay complaining just amazed it took me to over 500 items to freaze bumptop *528 to be exact*)

after trying to make this happen. just simply break the pile and it will go away

first: reload bumptop by exiting and reopening or rebooting

next: if the pin is still there check other walls for pined items;
double click the bottom wall and see if any thing is pinned really high (repeat for other walls) if there is something pinned high. move it down

next: if pin is still there try resetting all icons position;
right click in bumptop and click settings. and in the general tab click "Reset BumpTop Layout" pin should be gone

last: if pin is still there remove/reinstall bumtop.

it CAN help productivity but not at the moment (hence PRIVATE beta) but for photogrifers and other visual people its great and its awesome fun!
