Chuck...Thanks! Unfortunately this does not clear any issues with my phone. Still have to turn phone off and back on each time to get my email pushed...actually it's fetched now. Ironically, I went into my email settings and noticed now that roadrunner only provides a choice of fetch or manual, when before I had an option of push, fetch or manual.
Apple & AT&T, please let us know what you're doing to fix this?
Thanks!

iPhone 3G issues and basic needs! EVERYONE... Write to Apple here!! http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.htmliPhone 3G issues and basic needs!
EVERYONE...Write to Apple at the following site!!
http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone....
Here's what it needs, and add anything here, that I may have left off...Thanks!
- push and fetch email issues of not automatically pushing it to iPhone 3G, have to turn phone off and back on to get it to push each time (nothing to do with MobileMe)
- FLASH player (adobe is the most popular and well known)
- Bluetooth connectivity to every device (no locked down garbage that is on there now, not compatible with anything other than select headsets)
- voice dialing & recording
- voice activated & instructed turn-by-turn GPS navigation w/ real-time tracking (not just Google maps)
- MMS
- cut, copy & paste ability
- auto word complete that really works
- ability to "update all" apps at once, rather than individually
- ability to record video
- better camera with flash
- longer battery life
- the iPhone should offer tethering to laptops for use as a modem
- an external memory card (4GB, at minimum)
- navigation with voice activated gas pricing, restaurants, etc like what the Samsung Instinct offers thru Sprint (similiar to on-Star)
- how about LIVE TV & news on video, another thing the Instinct and regular basic phones offer
Please EVERYONE! Please write to Apple now by clicking below....

ps...there should be NO extra charge for any of this...it should be put in place in the next software/firmware upgrade/update!

OMG!
I can't believe it, I attempted to go to a site that uses Flash (inparticular, Adobe Flash) that's been around for decades now and the iPhone doesn't allow me to view or even download the flash player!
My push/fetch email doesn't push to the phone automatically, I have to shut the phone down and back on and then it appears...what's up with that???? Major issue!
Folks, just another item to add to your LONG lists to Apple. Below is my revised list to send to...click here.... http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone....

iPhone 3G is nothing but a marketing POS!Why in the world did Apple remove "Update All" from the iPhone app Store?!?

Updating all my iPhone 3G apps "individually" is a real inconvenience!Would love to update all my iPhone apps, but apparently Apple removed the "Update All" option on the App Store iPhone application (thanks!)
pdb replied on September 03, 2008 16:51 to the problem "MobileMe "push" and "fetch" not working on iPhone." in Apple:
Aside from MobileMe and not even using it, my iPhone is not pushing or fetching any of my email to the phone until I shut down the phone and then turn it back on each time.
That's not push email!!!
Care to comment Apple? AT&T?
I traded in (2) Samsung Instincts for (2) 3G iPhones and WOW!
What (2) HUGE mistakes that has been!!!
The Instinct offers SO much more than the iPhone and Sprint offers SO much more than AT&T for LESS!
Got one more week to decide if I'm dumping the iPhone and AT&T all together.
Tell me Apple and AT&T...what should I do????????-

Yes...EVERYONE...also please mention some other missing items in your feedback to Apple by clicking here...
http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone....
My 10 yr old Sanyo phone even allowed tethering to my laptop thru Sprint and I was not charged extra for it either.
I am actually EXTREMELY disappointed NOW with the (2) iPhone 3G's I just purchased AND AT&T's pricing for the very little they offer!!!
What really burns me is I bought these iPhones for $140 more than the Samsung Instinct and for the same amt of money per month that I'm paying with AT&T, I was getting 800 more anytime mins with Sprint on the Samsung Instinct and I was getting FREE LIVE TV, NEWS, everything! I was able to use bluetooth with everything, including hooked up to my GPS and for file sharing, was able to take the card out and transfer files off that to any phone or pc with my card reader, was getting voice activated dialing, voice activated turn-by-turn EXCELLENT navigation (REAL-TIME!)
I got better reception and was on the internet faster, the battery lasted days w/ talking and standby.
Shall I go on???????
Oh...I've had these iPhone 3G's for 3 wks now and I saw 3G 1 time which it blinked on for 1 - 2 seconds...NEVER saw it before and I've never seen it since. Only E ALL of the time.
At the 1 - 2 seconds time I did see the 3G, I was actually attempting to get on the net and it wouldn't allow me on, even under 3G!!!
Apple...your iPhone 3G is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!! :((((
You've definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and with your latest 2.0.2 update, I have been having more and more issues with apps and the net.
I have 1 more week to decide if I'm going back to Sprint and the Samsung Instinct.
This really SUCKS that you FALSELY advertised your product and caused me this aggravation and inconvenience.

How to get what you want in the iPhone 3G, ASAP!PLEASE...PLEASE "EVERYONE"...PROVIDE YOUR FEEDBACK DIRECTLY TO APPLE RE: THE iPHONE'S DESPERATE NEEDS HERE...
http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone....
LET THEM KNOW...IT SHOULD BE A "FREE" SOFTWARE UPGRADE TO THE iPHONE 3G FOR THE FOLLOWING...ASAP!!
- Bluetooth connectivity to every device (no locked down garbage that is on there now, not compatible with anything)
- voice dialing & recording
- voice activated & instructed turn-by-turn GPS navigation w/ real-time tracking (not just Google maps)
- MMS
- cut & paste ability
- longer battery life
The phone already has the capability, it's Apple locking these features up!!! What isn't already there is a simple code writing exercise and can be a simple software upgrade in NO TIME!!!
Samsung Instinct offers ALL of this and Sprint is cheaper and offers more.
Other basic phones offer most all of this, come on Apple!!! :(
