Thanks for the information! I keep going back and forth between a couple options. I analyze it all til I can't stand it and buy. I definitely will be trying some out for size with the keyboard issues. I won't buy anything less than a 10" model. Those 8.9 look horrible in that area, although I thought about adding an extra keyboard.
Thanks for adding the extra details about memory for the air cards and student discounts. I have plans of going back to school in the summer.
I want a macbook/netbook for mobility mainly. I think my biggest issue would be the transferability of an air card. If I could use one service (only) and trade between a desktop and the mobile one, I would be good to go. If I wanted to upload video files, I am sure it would have to be only to the desk top, then internet, not the mobile computer. mhz, ghz, ram speeds?I am looking at buying a notebook/netbook and want to know what speeds I should look for. I realize the data/air cards have a lot to do with speed on the internet but what else? I don't plan on viewing avi or other types of media files all the time but it would be nice to know when I did, they would play alright. My friend had a verizon air card and she had to let the videos load first and then play them. -
