Correct. I've given up on Plazes. Ever since the Nokia take-over, Plazes is dead (for me)... :-( – peSHIr, on February 03, 2010 08:54
A comment on the idea "windows mobile" in foursquare:
Oh, the WM www.waze.com client has Foursquare integration of sorts, but I never ever got that working. Says it logs in, but never shows venues to check into (which seems to be all it can do), even if I have GPS reception. – peSHIr, on January 27, 2010 14:33

Agree with Elliot and Spam, but only if this client actually materializes. Hope to get into the beta period and that it turns out to be usable. – peSHIr, on January 27, 2010 14:30

Cool. I'll adjust http://getsatisfaction.com/peshir/pro... to use the API when its available. (Currently it just sends a direct message to @FuelFrog from its fuel dialog.)
peSHIr replied on January 18, 2010 09:48 to the question "How do I use Twitter with FuelFrog so I can add Records from my Phone?" in FuelFrog:
When you have setup your Twitter account so you can send "@fuelfrog # # #" tweets (and "d fuelfrog # # #" direct messages, if you also follow @fuelfrog) then you could use use my Windows Mobile Twitter client called peSHIr Tweets to easily update Fuelfrog by DM: http://getsatisfaction.com/peshir/pro...

Right: the "we dropped the cities" change is great, but http://foursquare.com/mobile (which is my only way to checkin, actually) still contains the city combobox. Really too bad. – peSHIr, on January 09, 2010 20:50

A comment on the problem "Invalid phone number for venue" in foursquare:
That wouldn't work, because that's not a valid phone number (even though the Foursquare website seems to accept it). Such service numbers only work when inside the Netherlands; you cannot dial them from abroad with a country code prefix, nor would dialing "319001458" when in the Netherlands work. So I'm not adding that. Period. – peSHIr, on January 09, 2010 10:56

You don't say that for Blackberry users, right? – peSHIr, on January 09, 2010 10:49-
