to make matters worse I get another autoresponder email, this one saying
"You can review the status of your request and add additional comments by following this link"
and when you get to the link you HAVE to login, there are no other options.
BUT my problem is I can't login. Who the hell thought up that user hostile system? a former microsoft usability employee? Sadist? clueless?

and it makes it worse when you get autoresponder messages that basically tell you what you already know, you're screwed, here's probably the reason, but don't fix it or tell you how to do it. I can't login to twitter help because my login doesn't work. but you can't access twitter help unless you login.
who the hell thought up that moronic idea with no option for people who can't login?

Locked out of account, can't get password email reset, just get autoresponder messages that are useless from email, help!Hi,
you've locked me out of my account, said too many attempted logins, which didn't come from me, I assume I was hacked or someone tried to hack me or your system is somehow borked.
my name is @petequily
I've tried several times over 2 days to get you to email me a new password, and you haven't. Now when i try that you say "We've temporarily locked your ability to reset passwords. Please chillax for a few, then try again."
well i've chillaxed for several hours and nothing has happened. I've tried it again, still can't do it.
I've tried emailing twitter support several times and i just get totally useless autoresponder messages instead of real help.
Help.
Pete

Pete asked a question in Adobe on February 05, 2009 08:21:
clicking on links in Adobe Air App on Mac 10.4 opens dreamweaverWhen I click on a link in an Adobe Air App, tweetdeck, in mac os 10.4, it opens first in dreamweaver then finally it opens in firefox.
I know it's an air problem because 9 months ago Adobe employee Marco Kaiser replied to a similar question
"yes, as Andrew pointed out, this really is an AIR issue. twhirl has no control which browser opens a URL, and how it does it. It simply hands over the URL to show to the AIR runtime which should handle all the rest."

So after 9 months has adobe fixed this on the Mac? Or do they think no one clicks on links anymore?
