A comment on the question "Can you choose offline playlist location in Mobile App (Android)?" in Spotify:
I have a Nokia N86. Spotify files are NOT stored on my external card, but on the phone's secondary memory. Guaranteed. I bought a new SD card before installing Spotify and I have stored a number of offline playlists. They are all on teh phone and the new SD card remains empty. – Pietro, on November 25, 2009 19:39

Pietro replied on October 05, 2009 09:04 to the question "spotify user agreement" in Spotify:
What it all means is simply that Spotify reserves the right to change their prices without having to notify (or ask!) every single user, It's the same for any subscribed service. Most magazines for example reserve the right to change prices after a normal subscription period. That means that If Spotify charges by the month, then they can say that they are putting into effect a price change after the end of the current month
This is a general condiiton for most services and subscriptions.
For example Svenska Dabladet: "SvD reserverar sig för eventuella prisändringar vid förnyelse av prenumerationsperiod."
Or, Vi Föräldrar: "...39:50 per nr, med reservation för moms- och prisändringar.
Etc, etc.
This is perfectly and explicitly normal.
And BTW, why all the complaining in this forum? We subscribers are getting the best deal in music listening we will probably ever get. Give the company some encouragement instead.

mzl is right. Thanks for pointing it out. The other problem is probably solved, though I dont know how. My connection was up all night so that wasn't the problem. I removed a coupe of offline markers in my playslists and then was able to add a lot more with no trouble at all. if it happens again, I'll post a screenshot.
Pietro replied on October 02, 2009 09:03 to the idea "Premium Subscription price is too high!" in Spotify:
The premium price is a bargain. I can't think of any Internet-based service or application I have bought over the last 15 years (hundreds) that gives me more for my money than Spotify premium.
I really can't understand users who complain about the added functions to the premium account or that the price is too high.. Spotify is a business and a business has to make money. And if Spotify doesn't make any money, you can kiss your free account goodbye.
And go back to buying your CDs.
Pietro asked a question in Spotify on October 02, 2009 08:55:
Offline problems for PCOffline is great, but I have problems. Some playlists have no icon at the top right (Available offline - on/off). So I don't know if the playlist is syncing. Also the statusbar stops at a track number and a playlist with a grey arrow doesn't sync. I waited all night and the sync number stayed the same. And yes, I have tracks left to sync and haven't filled my quota.
It would be a good idea of Spotify put out a tgroubleshooting/user guide for users. I can't be the only one with this problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Pietro replied on August 27, 2009 10:40 to the question "Use spotify without having to install updates?" in Spotify:
Come on you guys. We all know that lots of different versions cause an enorrmous problem for the software manufacturer. They want at the most a few versions, otherwise the burden of supporting more is too great. It's a small price to pay for such a good service. I can imagine the nightmare at Spotify if they had to give advice on every new installation to customers - and non-paying customers at that!
Also remember that Spotify is still in beta and they have chosen to update the program this way. Fair enough, When 1.0 comes out, I'm sure we'll see a more standard way of ugrading.
And again: why gripe if you're not paying anything? If youare, then give Spotify a chance.

Pietro replied on July 29, 2009 12:11 to the question "Organizing playlists" in Spotify:
I wrote this comment close to a year ago, and many many others have written similar comments. But instead of writing a new comment, it is always best to find an original one and tag your comment on to that. This is exactly what dentun29, Enlance and nesukun have done here. Good work.
As for playlists, I am sure Spotify will address that issue when they get the chance. Remember, the application is still in a development stage and everything can't be done at once.
Good suggestions, especially nesukuns (and Enlances about moving the new playiist link).
