Peter replied on May 22, 2009 11:53 to the question "network compatibility on ning.com subnetworks" in Poken:
The Ning network is facilitator of many subnetworks of all kinds of subjects..
This would be very cool if members of a 'subnet'.ning.com could have this link on their pokencard too! (huge amount of people!!)
All subnetworks use the same Ning ID so this could be a very easy option for making the doyoupoken.com website compatible:
By adding 1 field 'subnetwork' in the 'Add you social network' section people can choose their most favorite or their carefully chosen networkprofile within ning.com to be visited by pokencardviewers..
I would be very delighted if this could happen to be real within a short while!!
Regards,
Peter

Can link2party.nl be added to the pokencard?Link2party has 135.000 members, mostly in the Netherlands / party / dance
55.000 were active in last 6 months
So? Do they poken?
I've had a business meeting with co-owner Robbie Bot and he was really interested to promote poken in their network. As a pokendistributor we like to make it very positive to Link2party!
In favour they are already publishing (me and businesspartner) on the newest and very classy friday-afternoon-network-drink, 'Vendredi' in centre of city Rotterdam.
Please have a look:

And selected one poken-picture in their article about this new friday evening social network event;

All foto-credits to Link2Party!!
Dutch e Works b.v. | Yes we poken! and Link2Party.nl are ready to produce and publish more stunning poken party pictures!
In advance of a special order of branded pokens we like to be compatible on doyoupoken.com..
Cheers!

Hi Simone,
I understand the policy and respect that offcoarse.. but
If you can have a look at:
http://www.dutcheworks.eu/logo-icon.html
There is to close a gap in quality-need for professional use of the pokencard i like to suggest .gif compatibility.
Please look at this and maybe there is a temporarly solutions to put the higher quality in place at: identity; account 'digibest', identity 'yeswepoken'.
Make us look good!!
Best regards,
Peter Bestebreurtje

Yes, i understand that that is just the problem!
When i choose to make a corporate card with a logo in stead of a foto its is not representative because of degradation by lower jpeg-quality..
I think for the sake of having professionals working with a poken and being able to logo this could be solved by letting uncompressed .gif being possible or having the jpg-compressor at 98% quality in stead of 80%.
Cheers!

Hi Simone,
I was aware of the 327x217 for the bigcard size.
This question is regarded to the place where a foto or logo can be put.
For loading a foto its size is 100x120?! If i choose to put a logo in stead of a foto on my card it looks smeared.. Maybe the jpg-converter is pulling of to much quality to make logo's look well and representatieve enough!
Best regards,
Peter

Peter asked a question in Poken on May 12, 2009 13:53:
network compatibility on ning.com subnetworksCan there be an extra field for adding ning.com subnetworks? I run 5 of these social networks and like to add a few on my pokencard for intstance http://clubrotterdam.ning.com and http://yeswepoken.ning.com?
It would be a very nice possibility to have compatibility with differentiating social networks on ning.com!
Peter replied on May 12, 2009 13:44 to the idea "Printed company logo on a poken" in Poken:
We like the idea of being able to print smaller batches ourselves a lot!
Also discussed it already with Ayman. As soon as this is possible we like to order this absolutely.
We have delivered printed on back of the head for 'Centraal Beheer Achmea'. It was a very nice quality print, indistinquisable from the printquality on the front of the puppet.
Please let us be 'selected' distributor to make these smaller customisations for the orders that won't be bigger.
