Just thought I'd comment here. I asked this question ages ago, deleted my ago, voila. Except I got an email every time everyone asked this question in this thread. Annoying. Took me ages to figure out what email address I was using and how to unsubscribe.
Just make the "delete me account" button in GS already, listen to your users. The irony.

I track Cambridge and London - but I only want to get emails for Cambridge. The reason for this is that I track a few hundred artists, and I get an email about London gigs on a near daily basis - I also check Songkick, and have the Google Calendar integration thing, so I only expect to see "high priority" gigs near me: maybe thats a location, or if Spoon are playing in London?
Emailing me for Cambridge and London simply means I'm starting to ignore the emails = missing gigs accidently

I'd like more granularity with emails.

the activity feed shows too many degrees of activityI shouldn't see when my friends are interacting with people that aren't my friends. Thats one degree too many of activity. Example: follow Michelle and your stream becomes full of awesome welcomes to every new user.
If one of my friends interacts with one of my other friends, I totally wanna see THAT activity, but if one of my friends interacts with a regular, non-friended member, I don't care. I imagine thats quite hard technically to implement - but you know what they say, if it was easy everyone would be doing it ....

Please offer a "today" "tomorrow" "next week" style human readable data as well as the longer "28 August 2009" date.example: got an email about the white denim gig, noted the date, signed up "i might go", totally didn't notice it was TOMORROW! :)
I find it hilariously hard to ascertain when a date is, so knowing when the gig is [if its within the next week, say] is really handy.

Not only does your website not work with Chrome on the Mac, it causes data loss. You can't log in - you simply get redirected as if you never tried to log in.
But if you create a support post and try to log in after writing, it simply redirects you back to the main page and loses your support topic entirely - I don't know if its posted or whats happened.
I actually created four support tickets before noticing your site had lost them.

just to further clarify, I mean parsing spotifys "hashed" urls into what they are, rather than converting a "clean" url into a hash.
I was thinking a system of:
user enters their http spotify url
we parse it, turn it into a short clean url
when a user clicks, they're taken to the spotify *URI* link.

I'd like to make a url shortening service that turns your "HTTP Spotify Links" into readable links. So from :
http://open.spotify.com/track/3XkqrE0...
to
mydomain.com/Bach/Tpccata_in_d_minor
when the user clicks the latter link, they're taken to the song in spotify.
I poked about your blog and saw this functionality might be coming in the future - so I assume it isnt possible as yet :)

Can I link to spotify tracks with pretty urls? or lookup obsfucated links to see what they are?Can I query the catalog of your songs, to create "pretty" URLs when linking to tracks in Spotify?

cli.gs support in TwhirlPlease support the URL shortener http://cli.gs in twhirl, ideally with analytics - but public urls are great too!
Thanks!

Flickr photostream as slideshow for musicI'd love to be able to set my music visualizer as my flickr stream!
(this is really just an example idea to demonstrate how cool Get Satisfaction is!)
