Where's my VID after upload via Palm Centro (Sprint)?

My video upload ends up BLANK from Palm Centro (Sprint) even though it posts the text/caption.



I did test a direct upload of the same video via the Pixelpipe web interface and saw some improvement over the upload from the phone....

PHONE UPLOAD = just text (no window, no audio, no video)
DIRECT UPLOAD = text, video window, audio (no video)

Odd. In the time that I've composed my above note and rechecked my posts and rechecked the site, the previously "good" link (http://pic.gd/87f) now generates the ERROR/DELETED message as the other missing pic.

I think I have a similar issue:

I logged in for the first time w/ my Twitter account last night. I "tested" the service with an upload from my computer and from my mobile phone successfully. The push to Twitter and Facebook was successful last night.

Today, I login and find that there are NO photos logged. When I check the links from last night, one appears (http://pic.gd/87f ) but it does not show in my currently logged-in state under the "My Photo"; and the other link provides an ERROR/DELETED message (http://pic.gd/3824df).

Also, the page tells me that I am logged in (transitionpete), but the user and avatar on the UPLOAD page is not me -- it shows a default avatar and the user name of "ciro_m". The other tabs correctly indicate that I am logged in.

In addition, the SETTINGS I had set last night have changed -- new pin #, and some of the check box settings were not persistent from last night. However, the Facebook connection was persistent.

Help.

video push to Vimeo results in multiples

Whenever I upload a video via Pixelpipe and push to Vimeo, I get:

"Vimeo: failed due to Clip Not found. Either it doesn't exist, or the current user doesn't have permission."

BUT, the video still gets uploaded to Vimeo. IN ADDITION, the video is uploaded/encoded multiple times. My Vimeo account shows 4 of the same video updated in succession (which I manually delete 3 of).

What's the fix? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I push my content via my Palm Centro (Sprint) using email w/ attachments.

I am selecting verses as you have described -- by clicking to highlight and not dragging and highlighting. The email popup indicates which verse/verses are selected... just can't seem to send the email when I click the [send] button. – peteypk, on February 25, 2009 03:27

I think I could find this option useful, but not critical. As I was poking around the Zannel site, I noticed a few old blog posts that referenced the slideshow widget that looks like it functioned completely differently? I have a similar issue with my MBP. Connection to the network and Internet had worked fine for months using an Airport Extreme. Then, over time, I've noticed the connection to the Internet taking longer and longer, while connection to the network is fine (I can hit my network drives wirelessly with no problems).

As of 2 days ago, I cannot get wireless access to the Internet on my MBP. My wife's Dell laptop can wirelessly hit the web.

Any thoughts?

By the way, @cjwinn: what does Safari have to do with accessing the web?

thanks for investigating. the uploads/posts seem quite inconsistent. i sent a test vid from my sprint palm centro today (Aug20) -- sent same vid twice... 10:39a EST with "x" in the address... and 10:42a EST with "+". As of this post @ 10:54a... nada! – peteypk, on August 20, 2008 14:54

ok. how long does it take to get video from phones converted/transcoded and posted? Per my earlier comment, it seemed to upload the video from my mobile phone... but it took over 5 hours to get it to show up!

I've been experimenting and can't seem to get an upload from my Sprint Palm Centro to appear. I've used the + and the x... and I've also tried sending via the Centro's messaging app and email app. Still no go.

I have been entering txt in the subject line and body to see how uploaded videos will be tagged. I can't seem to find any info about that aspect.
