Martin, the data are updated on daily bases, unfortunately your logs were not available in your S3 bucket during the last update. We will load your new logs ASAP and let you know.
At this time, the only way how to determine the last logs imported is to look at a time based report, for example Total Requests Over Time.
Petr Olmer replied on May 13, 2009 09:31 to the discussion "What do you think about BI by Good Data?" in GoodData:
Arjen,
we want to be the best in both areas. I believe that the back-end ROLAP engine we're developing will be the most advanced on the market, and in combination with our easy-to-use UI, you should get the best analytic experience you can imagine. We want to open the BI space to everybody and to show them it's not expensive, not difficult, and definitely not scary.

Petr Olmer replied on May 06, 2009 07:57 to the idea "Usability annoyance regarding data uploads" in GoodData:
Arjen, I don't think we're going by SAP way. So far, we're more concerned about snapshoting historical data. If sales order ID 1234 was $100 and is $110, we want to store both values with timestamp, understand why it was changed, and allow users to analyse it.
Otherwise, we could use the ROLAP advantages, and just update the ID 1234 record with new value. We don't calculate any cubes during data upload.

Hi Arjen,
your use case is something we're discussing with other customers too. You can't connect to an S3 bucket directly but we can read your bucket and update our data warehouse.

Petr Olmer replied on April 16, 2009 14:22 to the problem "'Task timeout' error uploading a 10MB data file" in GoodData:
Pavel,
the problem is in your column that combines date and time together, making the date&time dimension too big. This will definitely need fix on our side but meanwhile you can load date and time as two columns. You can also optimize the analytical possibilities by importing hours and minutes as separate columns (and not importing seconds at all). That will give you the possibility to slice & dice by hours of day.
Thanks for your feedback!

Ryan, it would be great if you can send your file to support@gooddata.com. Geo/date mapping can be a little tricky, and I could only guess where the problem can be.
Thanks,
Petr
