Double check your account. That happened to me, and it turned out my account had been deleted. See this discussion:

Yeah - I said that in my blogpost. I mean, hey - most of the folk banned are real strong Twitter evangelists. I teach and present and blog about Twitter. Then they ban us, say we've either breached the contract or "accidentally" deleted our own accounts, don't answer questions, don't post a status updated, don't update the blog ... This is such a breach of trust. I have an upcoming meeting in which I am talking with some bigwigs about tools for engaging with their community via social media. Twitter *was* going to be my number one tool. Now, I don't feel safe making that recommendation.
