Hello guys,
Is photosynth still able to handle TIFFs? I'm currently trying to demonstrate the apps flexibility compared to photogrammetric software and have a little project lined up which includes 32 images from 3 cameras (5-10MP) taken over a 3 yr period in both TIFF & JPEG formats. It doesn’t appear to recognise 16 bit TIFFs.
Thanks
Ric

Sorry Joshua, I wasn't very clear, what I meant was when you search for a subject under 'search synths' it would be nice if the synths listed had the globe icon showing they'd been geotagged - on the front page as it were. If there are numerous synths of a popular subject, users might want to go to a geotagged one first, particularly if the synth % is high.

Hi guys, just thought I'd post this in case it's a different problem:
I’ve created a several synths of prehistoric 'rock art' and titled and tagged them as such, but when you search for ‘Rock Art’ they’re not found at all on any of the 20 pages of returns. The first page returns synths titled;
pile of rocks
ringing rocks
Ben roadside rocks
Rock
Rocks
Black Art
Rocks with snow
Cackdaddy
Computer Center #407
Brimham Rocks v2

PGric asked a question in Microsoft Live Labs on January 13, 2009 15:15:
Copyright, reviewHello Live Labs team,
Not sure if you’ll be able to advise on this, but I’m currently conducting a review of Photosynth for English Heritage, and would like to include some screenshots of the programme in action.
From the Legal section, it seems I may be breaking copyright if I include some. Can you advise where to gain permission. For individual models, I’ll obviously need to seek permission from individual synth creators.
Thanks
