Phil Gates replied on September 27, 2009 16:24 to the problem "how can i capture web pages that need to scroll veritcally?" in plasq:
This is definitely an area of need on the Mac that is not currently filled. It's a major opportunity for mac developers that could provide significant monetary rewards. TechSmith has announced development of SnagIt for the Mac, but that's likely a year or more away. I and many, many others need a stable, workable solution ASAP.-

nickname's reply to "Permanently delete messages" was just promoted to the most useful! Phil Gates and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.
The failure to include it from the beginning, and, even moreso, the faiure to get on it after multiple urgings, is reason to doubt that the company gives adequate importance to privacy.
It is not of the same nature as an interface feature, and should not be handled as such. The number of requests /votes is irrelevant.-

Phil Gates replied on June 22, 2009 18:19 to the question "How do I move mailboxes to the top or bottom of my list? How do I change a mailbox's priority?" in OtherInbox:
It's great to be able to prioritize mailboxes, however it would save a lot of page refreshes (and time) if the UI provided a list of mailboxes, each with a priority selection box, and a Save button for all the changes on the page.
It would also be very useful to be able to specify a default priority for all new mailboxes, instead of everything defaulting to Normal.
I love oib!
Phil Gates reported a problem in Second Gear on May 08, 2009 22:38:
Delete it, it's gone forever ?!?I'm liking Check Off so far... a little rough around the edges but on it's way. I came across a functionality issue: After creating a long list of activities, broken out into several submenus and sub-submenus, I accidentally deleted the main parent ( I have a sensitive touchpad ). Unfortunately there seemed no way to undo the action... ⌘-Z didn't work, <esc> didn't work. I eventually had to restore the pfile using Time Machine and redo some of my work.
Was this "stupid user" error, a bug in the program, or a missing feature?</esc>-
