Flickr Export 3 crashes iPhoto when uploading certain picturesWhen I was running Flickr Export 2 for iPhoto I had a lot of problems with certain photos failing to upload. The problem was never resolved. I just upgraded to version 3.0 and iPhoto '09 in the hopes that that might get around the issue, but instead the problem has gotten worse. Now, any time Flickr Exporter encounters a photo that it can't handle, it not only fails to upload but also crashes iPhoto and sometimes creates a glitch in my internet connection that forces me to reload my browsers. There is no indicator as to which photos will be problematic. I've had issues with images from both of my cameras (which are two different brands), both edited and un-edited, while successfully uploading other photos from both cameras.

I just tried to use the uploader again for the first time since I got back from my trip and the same problem still exists. After the process bar successfully ran through a number of photos, the upload stopped, showing the message "FlickrExport lost its network connection whilst talking to the Flickr server. Please check your" several times associated with a number of different photos.
Also, at the end of the list, it said that 0 photos had been uploaded successfully, but 111 photos made it onto my flickr account. However, those 111 photos were in a completely haphazard order almost entirely unrelated to the order that they were in in my iPhoto.
I have a huge number of messages in console, but I didn't notice any associated with Flickr Exporter.
A comment on the problem "All photos failing to upload despite progress bar" in Connected Flow:
I'm actually away from my computer for the next month, but when I last
used Export about 10 days ago it was working for some photos but not
others, and whenever it encountered a photo it couldn't handle it
failed on all subsequent photos as well and then crashed iPhoto after
I clicked "ok" on the error message. The problem photos were
completely random and didn't correlate to camera, camera brand,
format, size, date uploaded... I WAS able to upload said photos
directly through Flickr. – Philippe, on February 02, 2009 14:49

All photos failing to upload despite progress barI've been running Flickr Export 2.0.14 for probably about a year now with few problems. I recently upgraded to Panther, but I've successfully uploaded plenty of pictures since then.
Last night my batch canceled part way through and iPhoto (but not some other applications) froze and I was forced to restart the computer (force quit didn't work). Since then it's been almost impossible to upload, despite the fact that the progress bar successfully runs through at least the first few pictures before skipping ahead to randomly numbered shots and eventually giving me a message that 0 photos were uploaded successfully. After each failure, iPhoto crashes.
At one point I got a different message that the image had failed to mount. That went away after restarting iPhoto, but I still couldn't upload.
I upgraded to Flickr 2.0.15 to see if that was the issue, but that didn't help. I also successfully uploaded the same photos that were failing by using the online Flickr uploader. I've quit and restarted iPhoto, I've restarted the computer.
There was a brief respite when I was magically able to get a set (of pictures that had previously failed) uploaded, but then it stopped working again.
As I'm writing this, a new and exciting error message has appeared: "FlickrExport was unable to log into Flickr because of the following error: FlickrExport lost its network connection whilst talking to the Flickr server. Please check your networking, DNS and any proxy servers."
