profile picture upload not resizing like it used to..I had to manually crop a square image because otherwise it would squash the image down.

Before, twitter would crop out a square when you uploaded an image and create different sizes for the different pages. Now it seems to be using just the original uploaded size for all pages, which makes the image jaggy when it is just resized by the browser.
I understand Twitter was doing some work on this, but they said it should be fixed by now.

The Twitter logo shrank in the wash..Just looks a little disproportionate now. Also friends have commented that it is harder to click on now, as a lot of people use it to refresh their tweets.
Rationale over the decision to shrink it? Surely not to save bandwidth, haha! :)
phocks shared an idea in Twitter on February 09, 2009 01:59:
Separate tweets from @replies by making a wall/shoutbox tabRestructure the @replies to be more like a facebook/myspace wall, maybe on a separate page.
When you think about it @replies fairly rarely answer Twitter's main question of "What are you doing?". I've been thinking for a while now that it doesn't really make too much sense a lot of the time to bundle them in with general tweets that do answer that question. I'm only suggesting this because sometimes when you look at a persons profile it can be very difficult to see what they're doing in and amongst all the replies.
I'd suggest putting all replies on a separate tab and also have on there received replies as well, kind of like a wall or shoutbox. Not sure how feasible this would be, but maybe something to consider in future.-

non-reply tweet received as a reply.. strangehttp://twitter.com/mcbumface/status/1...
Says it's in reply to one of my tweets, but it doesn't have @phocks at the start of it. Haven't seen that before. Just wondering what's caused it.

http://search.twitter.com/ could be of use perhaps. Although I don't think you can search for names.
You could try a google search for "site:twitter.com" and then the name of the person

How could you detect abandoned accounts that you are following? Is there any way to detect abandoned twitter accounts that you are following? This could possibly be achieved by the ability to sort your following list by most recently updated.
