i don't have the ability to reply to a direct message sent to me because they aren't following me...

i realise that usually you can't dm people who aren't following you, but doesn't it follow logically that if someone direct messages you, then they might want to be able to get a response without actually following your tweets? Another way to remedy this is to have a setting to "allows direct messages from people you do not follow".

just a(nother) suggestion. keep up the groovy work.

Kind of trivial, but would it kill ya to preload the hover graphic on the new update button so that when you mouseover it doesn't go blank while it loads the file? The effect is more pronounced on a slower connection.
